Who is eligible to vote for Municipal Election?

2018 Municipal Election is about three months away.
Each voter is able to cast one’s ballot in person to select Mayor, Councillor, and School Board Trustree for each city in Ontario.
You can vote in the 2018 Municipal Election if you are:
- A Canadian citizen; and
- 18 years of age or older; and
- A resident of the City of Markham; or
- A non-resident who is, or whose spouse is, an owner or tenant of land in the City of Markham; and
- Not prohibited from voting by law
